I got my tattoo about 2 wks ago. All the scabs have fallen off, but what iam worried about is that where the scabs have fallen off there is like what looks like dead skin and its a pink color and slightly wrinked too. Just wanted to know will this eventually peel?

Well I have 27 tattoos, and what you are experiencing is normal. just don't expose it to the sun too much. keep it moisturized, nothing with any perfumes in it.

Make sure you're not scratching it. The left part of the tatt looks like its been scratched at or they went a little deep with the needle. I don't see any puss or anything like that which is great cause it means no infection (take time to pat yourself on the back for using the antibiotic and lotion. that's always key). If you're really worried, always stop in to see your artist or any artist for that matter. I'm sure they'll check it out for you. Also. If you're not allergic to tattoo goo or similar products, invest. They're made specifically to help the healing of your new tatt. Now, it will remain red, and it will start itching (if not already). Try not to use scented soap on your neck and keep shampoo away from it just to make sure. All in all! Great tatt and nice choice. Good artist!

Sounds pretty normal. I just got my fifth tattoo a week ago, and mine is actually on the same stage as yours, but mine is tiny. Just make sure you keep using lotion (without petroleum) to moisturize the area until it is fully healed. Most tattoo artists recommend this for 30 days. So, I wouldn't worry. It will be fine!

Also, if it does start to peel, don't force it to come off. Don't pull the dead skin, let it fall off on its own.

i'm not sure exactly what you are talking about but some tattoos take longer to heal and have two phases of scabbing and falling off. my feet did this in places. if you have a picture you could post it and we could have a better idea of what you are talking about.

wrinkled? if you dont put ointment any more, put some lotion, every day, 3 times a day if possible. theres nothing to worry about, but make sure you keep it moistured, your skin is most sensitive in that area, don't expose it to the sun, cause its too new still.

sounds like you got scarred while they were tattooing you. did you get it done at a professional or is it a home made tat. it'll probably just end up fine i wouldn't worry about it too much. just keep putting some antibiotics on it.
