I met this really cute girl online, and I like her a lot. At first we just exchanged a few messages, but now she is being very coy and non-responsive. She told me she's single, which sounds good. I want to take it slow, but it's hard. What should be my next step?

I don't think anything is going to happen.
She is probably hooking up with someone else.
I suppose it is worth a final shot. Send her your phone number, and see if she calls you.
If she doesn't call you, forget about her.

OK LISTEN, I HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THIS DEPARTMENT!
I went through the exact same thing first question does she know what you look like? If so then that's not it.NOW what you must remember is it is on line dating, i too met someone we exchanged messages then talked on the phone i lived in Oregon he lived in Alaska, i thought he seemed like a wonderful guy, i could even picture myself with him that was back in Sept '06
then i didn't hear from him as much sometimes he was non-responsive and i couldn't figure it out, I am definitely not ugly, i can hold an intelligent conversation,and i know i possess excellent quality's any good man looks for(i am me and real!)
SO WHAT i figured is just because we talked doesn't mean i am the only one it is Internet dating(and my first time with it) I am sure there were others he was seeing that lived closer. AND THEN in mid OCTOBER he starts calling quite frequently again this time i was coy and sometimes non responsive and i guess he liked that so he continually persuade me well it worked we finally met and have been together ever since, SO what i am telling you is don't give up pursue her unless she tells you other wise!! Happy ending are not really just a fairytale they can be very real.... BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!!!!!
