2. yes they will feed you.
3. It just a physical, the will test eyes, ear's, reflex's, strength, joints, movement, heart, drug test. You will also fill out many many forms and answer lots of questions on paper and from staff.

1. It is so you can, without a doubt make your appointment. The Army is a huge bearocracy of hurry up and wait.
2. Meals will be provided at MEPS. They provide them with meal tickets. Remember though, once your name is called, you drop whatever you're doing and go.
3. They just do mobility tests and what not, including a duck walk, sitting on your heels and banging your knees on the floor. I don't know why, but they do 'em. Nothing to be worried about though.
4. After the physical, either the same day or another day, you will come back to MEPS, fill out the paper work, sign your contract, take the oath, and receive your first orders (report to basic training, where, when, etc.)
That is all there is to it.

As stated before in previous question. You dont have to stay at MEPS the night before, it is just more conveniant for you and your recruiter. The reason being is you report along with others to MEPS early and I mean early in the morning.
When I went through the hotel provided breakfast, MEPS had a cafateria which had some really good food. As far as dinner I got to the hotel late enough were they didn't have it, and I had already ate before I left to go. After I was done with MEPS it was about 4 or 5 in the evening went home and ate.
The physical is your basic physical
Turn you head and cough
Hearing Test
Vision Test
Blood Test (diabetes, STD, bloodtype, Cholestoral)
Blood Pressure
Urinalysis
Balance
Physical Strength (see how much weight one can lift {used to help determine ones job})
May have to take a breathalizer, when I went through had alot of people think it be fun to get hammered at the hotel.
If you haven't taken the ASVAB you will take that the first day at MEPS which means you will be there and the hotel for 2 days.
After the Physical you will go over you paper work, do perliminary background check, finger prints, take the Oath of Enlistment and leave (just to let you know you still don't have to leave to basic if you change your mind, but once you arrive at basic you have to take extra steps to get out.)
All branches go through the same MEPS process

You are taken to the hotel for two reasons, 1) so you will in fact show up at MEPS, 2) so the recruiter doesn't have to get up so early in the morning.
You will be provided meals while you are there. They will give you a voucher for dinner and you will eat at MEPS in the morning.
You will get a normal physical
Once you are through with the physical, you will go and see the career counselor. Remember that the Army has "hot" jobs to fill and that while you are sitting with him at the computer, he will try to "sell" you one of these jobs. If you have a particular MOS in mind, stick to your guns or walk out..............
Good Luck

Generally , military forbids such practices and have severe reactions so normally if you're test came-up positive you'd be put to trial . The fact that your were sworn in makes things more complicated not easier for you. But honestly , i wouldn't worry that much even if it turned positive.
