One day my daughter was walking home from school and was attacked and being beaten by 2 girls at once. I happen to drive up on this and I jumped out of car and smacked the **** out of one of the girls. The other one took off running. There is nothing scarier than seeing your daughter being attacked.

There have been a FEW circumstances where I have *thought* he should have just smacked her, but then after I would think about it I would be VERY glad it did not happen.... private situation !!!! anyway, I do NOT beleive in hitting at all.... violence is a cowards way out !!!!! Walk away !!! RUN away !!!! Leave the place !!!! It takes a man to walk and a little boy to hit !! Same with women..... takes a woman to walk and a little girl to hit.... I am talking of normal emotional situations here..... I know things can change when constant ABUSE is involved !!!!! God bless

It is NEVER okay to hit a girl. On the other hand she has no right to hit YOU either. Violence does nothing but breed violence. If she is "smacking you around" either LEAVE quickly or call the police.
Keep in mind that most cops out there will believe the girl over the guy. But if either of you have ANY kind of mark you will BOTH be arrested! (unless there is a child involved then most likely YOU will go to jail)
Your best bet is if she is hitting you... RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
If she is making you so angry you want to hit her... Seek counseling.
Violence is NEVER the answer!

NO, it is never ok to hit a girl. The only extenuating circumstances I could think of would be if she was a black belt and was trying to fight you or had you held at gun point. Even during these, I would say your objective is self defense not trying to hurt her.

It is never okay to hit a woman in anger, or to punish her for something. That's called abuse.
However:
1) If she asks for a spanking during sex, go ahead and give her a few gentle swats on the butt if it excites her.
2) If she hauls off and hits you when you aren't physically threatening her in any way, you can defend yourself. Men don't have to take physical abuse in a relationship any more than women do, and it doesn't make it okay that she's female and smaller than you, either.
3) If some woman or other girl gets physically intimidating or abusive toward your sister, girlfriend, wife, daughter, etc., you can defend her.
4) If she pulls a weapon on you (this happened to my brother, who is a police officer, and to another guy friend who's a bail bondsman) you can use physical force to protect yourself.

no there is never an OK time to hit a girl, violence is violence, and if you hit some one you can and will be charged with assault. and you will have a record for the rest of your life. No the best way to deal with frustration and anger is to walk away from the situation, and do not go back to it as your anger will just return with you and you will be in the same boat you now occupy. if every thing makes you angry go and talk to a councillor, now do not wait until this comes back to haunt you

Dude, walk away. Men shouldn't hit women, because you guys are the stronger sex.
If you're going to claim this moniker than step up to it and all that comes with it.
Generally, a man could physically oblierate a female, and where is the manliness in that?
There are times when I have seen a woman really freak out on a man. A true gentleman let's her know that her behavior is unacceptable and will walk away if he feels himself getting worked up.
Only a true punk would sock a chick.
That's my story, and I am sticking to it.

There is really no excuse to hit anyone, especially a girl or anyone you'd have a physical advantage over.
Hitting is just a way of saying you're an idiot and cannot solve anything with words.
That being said, it is also not okay for a woman to hit a man either.

Never with the intention of hurting her.
If you get hit then odds are that you deserved it (us guys are kinda stupid that way) so you should take it, appologize for what you did, and move on. NEVER RETALIATE!!!
The times when i do believe it is ok are in a playful manner. Even then, be carefull how hard you hit and make sure that they know you are playing. It should never hurt them at all and shouldn't make them mad. If it does then you need to applogize immediately.
Keep in mind that girls in general are about 10,000 times better then we (men) are, and they deserve the respect to show it to them. We just have big egos and naturally controlling personalitites.

Normally, no. I will never put my hands on a woman.
But, if the woman is about the size of Warren Sapp, then, I may rethink my position on this.
But, women should also not play on the fact that most men will not hit back. I have heard them talk of this before. They will tell other women "you just have to know the man, and don't smack him if you think he will hit back".
