Paint your room in 2 complementary blue colors--you could split the wall with the 2 colors... rather than one on top & one on bottom, paint diagonally. Mabye create a theme for your room too? You could try this website for tips on decorating http://homeimprovement.divinfo.com/

...one thing you never do is use the same shade over and over...mix it up a bit...use some light blues and dark blues...add a few purples in the room somewhere....some that arent too purplish...get maybe like a light blue carpet and then a purplish colored rug for by the side of the bed...of course on the floor...if the bed spread is light blue DO NOT get a light blue carpet get a darkish blue carpet instead and a light purple rug....

Get a paint ball gun and a mix of colors in the hopper. Lay on your bed and turn up the volume on your radio/CD player. Then just start shooting. We have some really cool designs.

If blue is your color either compliment it with something in total contrast to make it stand out and embellish it with throw pillows maybe a nice rug and a cool lamp and lighting choose something that compliments your color scheme. You can also try and stay with blues in different shades. Hope this helps. Goodluck.

The black and white recommendations are superb. whilst we've been adorning an condominium on a limited budget, i got here upon some surprising frames on clearance sales. With some black (flat) spray paint, all of them quickly had a undemanding look. in case you like u . s . a ., you will be able to additionally sand somewhat on the perimeters to lead them to somewhat distressed. Or, clean lines artwork for as much as date homes. as properly, the white partitions will artwork fantastically with the B/W concept.
