On the Style Network Channel i seen this stylist put something in the color of white on this girls bright red dyed hair color(after her dreadlocks were cut an untangled) and he explained what he was doing like this "I am putting this chemical on her hair to break down all the molecules to remove anything in her hair that is artificial. The 2nd chemical i put on will then help me basically scrape all the dye out of her hair." This is not in exact, but its saying hes going to take all the artificial chemicals or dye out and restoring her natural color. Now he showed us as he took what im sure what a fine toothed comb and brushed a large piece of her hair and voila! it was her natural brown color with absolutely no more red dye in her hair. Im wondering what he used to basically scrape all that color off her hair and returning it to her naturally beautiful brown hair. I dont personally need to do this to my hair because theirs no point considering im currently bleached. Thanks.

He stripped her hair.
It's called 'stripping'
But it's expensive, & bad for your hair.
It dries out your hair really badly.
and doesn't always go back to your natural color.

You can strip away the permanent artificial color with a hair color remover. When using hair color removal products, your hair will end up looking raw and brassy, so you will need to re-color your hair to make it look natural. After the color has been removed, apply your desired color.

I purely used a semi-everlasting hair colour till the component of my hair that become colored grew out adequate to diminish off. With a semi-everlasting because it fades you will see how a lot your organic has grown out a lot less stressful. also, it become no longer as drying to my hair as an eternal, I have darkish brown hair and become bleaching it for years. i wager I purely needed a replace so I enable it strengthen out, there become no particular clarification for no longer needing my hair blond. i'd get a colour one colour lighter because if I were given one which become purely about a similar colour it would come out to darkish and make my complexion look harsh. i love Clairol organic tendencies. often times for stimulating i'd use colorations of burgundy it provides my hair a pink/plum colour. good success

I would leave something like that to professionals. I do my hair at home. However I know my limitations!
