If you're old enough, tell your cousins to get lost. Don't get into the habit of listening to others, or they could ruin your life. Listen to your own conscience and intuition.
I have never been able to figure out why a family would prefer that their women go out someone more immature (who might take you to a street racing contest), as opposed to someone who is more mature and sensible. Obiviously, there is an assumption that he'll take advantage of you, and I think that to AUTOMATICALLY assume that is sad.

Girl you better forget about the cousin and the friends and say yes. You like him, plus he's cute. If it were them, they'd say yes so why shouldn't you??? It's all about you and your happiness. And if it doesn't work out, at least you know you gave it a chance. My sweetheart, soon to be fiance, is 4 yrs older than I am and we are doing just find.

If you like him i say go for it. Whether you want everyone to know about it is up to you. Just remember if you decided to keep it on the low you could potentially hurt the people you don't tell about it. What i mean by that is they might think your trying to hide something or have been lying to them.

listen to your family and friends girl - they care about you and want you to be safe. if this guy was your age would you be as interested? if not, then move on. why is some old dude interested in a much younger girl anyway? He must not have many girls his own age to like. 4 years is A LOT of time.

It doesn't really matter what your friends say, but if your in highschool, middle school ect. 4 years is like 10 for adults.....that's a lot older

I guess it depends on your age. If he is considered a legal adult and you are not, then things can get tricky. If that is not the case, I say you go with your own feelings and don't worry about what other people say or think.

I agree with the other answers...it depends on your age. If you're younger then 18...I say no. But if you are 18 and he's 22...why not?

I would say you should go out with him......age really doesn't matter, as long as he isn't like 10 years older than you than that would be way different!!!!!!!!!!!! But yeah girl who cares what his cousins say........they probably don't want you to go out with him because they are jealous cuz they can't get you..........Good Luck!!!!!!!!

4 years is a big diference depending on how old you are. whatever your diccion you need to be careful he might not have the same thing in mind that you have
