if a senior was originally iunterested in a sophomore, but had failed to remember she was a sophomore and stopped calling-what the heck is the deal?
what's wrong with being a senior and dating a sophomore? his brother is in college and they were both apparently shocked that she was a sophomore because they thought she was a senior, and ever since he's known, he hasn't called her back.
what to do!?

update: called him twice yesterday (he's from a neighboring town so i don't see him in school unfortunately..)...both times, no answers. his cell continued to ring. i have a feeling he's trying to ignore me or just try to avoid confrontation. but guys, i really like him. and if he doesn't end up calling me to hang, i will be seeing him in 2 weekends at an event we'll both be at. but i realllllllllly need some advice here....

i'm guessing his brother really did have an impact-made him back off from me. SO REDICULOUS...i hate brothers

If the brother is so concerned perhaps you should go and ask him if you did something wrong or if he really believes that you are too young for his brother and does age really matter when someone is important to you. secondly ask the brother again why he is so agains you dating his brother and if his brother misses you at all and if he wouldn't mind you would really like to hear this from his brother himself without him interfearing with it. Could he at least give you enough space to let his brother and you work out this on your own and please ask him to ask brother if he will answer the phone just so you can settle this and get it off your mind. Otherway, wait until the even and get him alone and ask him yourself, tell he you can handle a breakup but could he be man enough to tell you the real reason instead of hiding behind his brother? Take care heather

You have to remember that a senior is almost of age, 18 and a sophomore is still under age. the senior is just looking out for his own butt. It could be a nasty thing for an 18 year old to take out "minor".

If he's gonna have a problem with her age, then he's not worthy. Most guys would love to date a younger girl. They're not as experienced if ya know what I mean. I think she should go and find another senior that likes her and make the other one jealous.

sounds like the senior thinks more about how others will think than his true feelings. If you like someone, it shouldn't matter what age or grade they are in. It doesn't seem like the senior is worth the sophmores time or effort. The sophmore needs to find a more mature person, no matter what age

High School is a strange world...... It depends on who he hangs with and who is main friends are... if they are giving him a hard time about dating a Sophmore than he might just have given into that preasure..... YOU need to talk with him, in private, after school hours, ask him what the deal is..... I myself, when in HS , NEVER dated a fellow student, I always dating out of HS guys.... UNTIL, I met the man I would marry.... dated 3 months and married him...... Tech., he was still in HS, but we started dating 2 days before graduation..... God bless

It shouldn't matter. Maybe he's just embarrased. Call him yourself and ask him what's going on.

Maybe he just figured she was to young for him...or he thinks her parents might get mad.
