These guys are almost mirror images of each other as far as styles go. Wright would probably be the aggressor due to his natural size advantage and Pernell would box and move more. Pernell was so hard to hit and Wright would have to get him to the ropes and bang the body. These guys are so good with defense that i wouldn't expect a lot of clean punches to be landed in this fight, but an aggressive Winky would land the harder blows that do land and he does enough to outpoint Sweet Pea in a very close split decision.

I'll take Winky. Simply for the fact that Whitaker didn't have much left in the tank at the end of his career and fought his last fight at Jr. Mid.

I would have to say winky wright. Whitaker was great and had great moves, but I dont think he would be able to get inside on winky.

Winky is a good deal bigger, seeing that Pernell debuted at 135 and we're talking about a fight at 154, which Pernell only fought at a couple times.So this question is as absurd as asking if this fight were at 140. But Pernell was a better fighter.
