I am a quarter Palestinian. Should I convert to Islam?

I was thinking of converting to Islam because I am a quarter Palestinian. Any suggestions?

There are also many palestinian christians too. I am lebanese american myself and im catholic. If your catholic or christian, look into it and see what jesus christ really is about .

Sister, that is not a reason to convert. Christians are in Palestine as well. Even some atheists. I've met some from there. Just because you have the country of origin, that does not make it necessary. That's like saying I should (even though I already am) because my children are half Pakistani. It's not a must. Just becuase a country is known to be run by a majority, that doesn't mean they all are. If you do, you are welcomed with open arms. But only convert if you feel in your heart you want to be a muslim. Either way, good luck in your quest.

what is you being a quarter Palestinian has to do with converting to Islam. what about your other three quarters. That is the problem with the world. Islam is not meant for arabs, or people who are quarter arab. Believe me, it doesn;t say you have to be atlest and eighth arab to be a muslim. Islam is a religion where you believe that there is only one God, and you believe in all his messengers.

You shoudn't convert due to your ethnicity rather because you truly want to submit to God in this life and gain the reward of paradise for the next.

Yes, you should convert to Islam and follow it properly not extremists fanatics or complete liberals. Rather the Middle Path, the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh)

I think most of your friends are muslims that is why u want to convert to islam. If you wanna remain friends with them and thats the sole reason you are gonna do it, so you wont feel left out, then i suggest u dont convert. (I am a muslim myself)
Only if you are inspired and amazed by what you see is so different and better in the muslims around you than ppl from other religions. And you are convinced that "yea this is what i want for myself" then do convert.
Lesson: conversion to any religion is easy but to practice it in our daily lives requires motivation and determination. We can only be motivated if we understand that watever we are doing is eternally best for us.

i am muslim. the answer is yes AND no (keep reading). just because u are some nationality is no reason and muslims CANNOT force you. but go to a mosque, see if you feel the religion is right and then convert. i would convert if i were u but have never been in the situation

Why would you base a theological decision upon ancestry? I'm a quarter English, but I have never considered joining the Anglican Church. And what if you are half Irish and half English?

i wouldn't convert to a religion just because you are that nationality. only do it if you feel it is right for you and it is beliefs you feel are right.
