She said it was no shortcoming in me. Now she has married him after i was with her for many years and she always insisted there could never be anyone else or better. Is this a good reason " It just happened"? I still cannot figure it out? I do not go to church anymore.

This is a true story.

Churchgoers are always the insecure type, and clergy are always the manipulative type.
Wouldnt surprise me if the insecure was manipulated under the eyes of the fictional gOD and so shes messed her life up due to her insecurity.
Its good to see that you have become dissillusioned with the church, its the only true way.
I wish you well

Nothing like that "just happens". She was dissatified with her relationship with you for some reason. It happens to all of us. Some people are confused about what they really want, so they date a person who really isn't good for them until they find someone who is a good match.

Unless she was dishonest or cheated on you, then why are you upset that she found and married someone that she was more compatible with? If she didn't love you, then she did you a favor by breaking up with you -- rather than marry you, and then divorce you years down the road when she woke up and discoverd that she really had never been in love at all.

You're gonna blame God because your girlfriend is a creep? You're gonna give up so great a salvation when God has another better totally faithful woman just waiting for you.Don't you realize(if this is a true story) that God eliminated her from your life before you made the mistake of marrying her.Believe me Pal,the signs were there ,you just refused to see them in your "blind" love.

Do you think the flaw was in her and the clergyman or do you think the flaw is God's??? Do you think you are punishing your ex-gilrlfriend by not going? It seems to me that you are hurting both yourself and God because a couple of people hurt you. That is sad. I understand your feelings but not your reasoning. It is time to rethink your position. Pray and ask God to forgive you.

Can't help but feel that this situration is funny. So if this is serious sorry for my laughter. I don't see how that could happen ether unless the clergyman was really hot like model or movie star.
