so my question is hwo much whey protien should I take.I curently drink a protien shake after i workout.i wiegh 210.trying to gain more muscle mass.so far im seeing results.so should i add more ?

gaining muscle mass is about a lot more than just increasing the daily intake of protein. you have to increase both carbs and fats.

you really only need about 1-1.5 grams of protein per lb of lean body mass not total body weight. after all fat doesn't need protein. a higher amount of protein isn't going to cause faster increases in muscle mass, it doesn't work like that.

I would start counting calories and increase your cals by 10% each week until weight gain occurs.

one gram per pound of body weight. This should be divided up though out the day with the largest (100gm) after your workout and before bed. Use fast proteins after a workout and slower absorbing proteins before bedtime. Don't forget to rest. Your body grows and repairs itself when you sleep.
