im a 15 year old, diabetic (type 1-insulin dependent) male, 5'5" around 175 lbs. and high BMI. i want to know how to loose alot of weight by summer....right now i have fat i want to remove from my stomach , lower back, legs , arms... and face/chin if thats possible. Ive been riding a stationary bike 5 miles every day for the last 3 weeks.... but about it, and im going to start walking hoem form school now. I barley get any excersice because its winter right now and i dont liek being outside in the cold. my parenst have a treadmill but its not used because theres no where to use it in my house. I have a set of adjustable dumbells and a situp bench but i barley use those. My diet is definetlly not good and i dont its gonna change either because my family eats bad food and they wont change , my family background has heavy gennes ... both parenst and my grandmother... but how can i lose weight? What other cardio excersiss and weight training excersices can i do to loose weight?

If your parents care about you they will buy you healthy food. You could propose that they give you money for what you need to eat. Try to encourage a gym membership. It is cheap at the YMCA. Use your allowance for the youth rate...$13 a month depending upon area. Otherwise hang on until you turn 18 or get a job to suport your needs. You can use calorie-count.com to journal your caloric intake.

unfortunately cardio never does it all.. and neither does working out in general. the diet is the main part of losing weight. usually its not about how much you eat, but you really do have to focus on eating right even if you say your family doesnt. if youre really interested, make yourself meals seperate from everyone; buy your groceries or have whoever does the shopping get a few extra things for you/alternative foods. go for the low in sugar, whole wheat things. try to eat less carbs, cutting some dairy from your diet like cheeses does a lot. its probably best to eat none/little icecream, chocolate, candy, fatty cookies etc. to lose weight, the hardest part if unfortunately the diet. cardio does a lot, but if you eat wrongly then it will just continue in a vicious circle. it is very hard to start, but once you start seeing results the healthy eating will be worth it. not only for weight, but for general well being.
exercise-wise... even if its cold, try running and jogging. the best exercise is cardio for weight loss, and alternating the pace of your hearbeat. like sprint, walk, run, sprint, walk, run etc. and as youre a guy... weights do good for abs and arms, as well as crunches, sit ups, .. the usual.

You must change your diet if your want to lose weight and improve your health. A good diet is especially important to people with diabetes.

If your young and diabetic your family should eat better around you for your sake. Just keep exercising and try and eat three hearlthier meals a day, don't snack and don't eat junk food, oh and don't drink cokes at all, they are horrible for you, drink cold water all the time.

degrease by scrubbing in the shower for 15 minutes then spend 7 minutes shaving 3 minutes toweling off 4 minutes moisturizing and 20 minutes blow drying and styling your hair

listen pal. Mabye you should start off by telling your parents to start making some healthier choices at the dinner table.like eating more vegatbles and fish.about the excersises i think you have all the right tools you named them yourselves, you just got to start using them. becouse its cold out try jumproping for 20 minutes if u got room
