I make my own, start to finish, about 2-3 months.

It depends on the recipe and type. Some kits can be ready in weeks but I've found that if you pay a bit more for a top of the range kit and follow the instructions you can make a very good wine indeed, comparable with £5 a bottle shop stuff, for ~£1 a bottle in ~6 months.

I used to make wine in a big way......some of the kits you can buy are really nice, especially the reds.....visit you nearest homebrew shop and ask there...some of them are ready to drink in 2 weeks !!! and they are good value...£36 for a kit that makes 30 bottles.
