AN ELLPTICAL IS AN ALL OVER TONER..WORKS THE LOWER PART OF THE BODY BETTER THAN ANYTHING AND CARDIAC...WITH THAT AND SOME BODY BUILDING WITH LIGHT WEIGHTS YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TONE UP NICELY..REMEMBER THEY ARE SAYING WOMEN ESPECIALLY NEED TO GET INTO THE WEIGHTS TO HELP STRENGTHEN OUR BACKS FOR LATER YEARS...GOOD LUCK WITH THE WEIGHT LOSS AND TONING...

Yes, cardio is your best bet for getting rid of those love handles and belly fat! I recently sold my treadmill and purchased an elliptical, I like it better. As for toning, do abdominal workouts after your cardio... you could do all the sit-ups in the world and still have that belly fat, cardio is key to get rid of that stubborn fat!

Try using a stability ball for your ab workout.

I LOOOOVE my elliptical workout! I use the cross train feature and it did wonders for my post-pregnancy handles.
