What does it mean when a guy saids "thank you for being wonderful?" It seems like a stupid question, but he said it out of the blue. Thanks.

thanks guys for your answers. I know sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and that I may be reading into it. But it just took me aback. And for the rest of you he's not trying to get me in bed........... read btwn the lines. :-)

My guy ilpinman says this to me all the time!
Then he'll kiss me and we'll start making out. I never really asked him what he means by this, but I love it!
I tell him he's wonderful too because he is!!!! ;)

Well it is a shocker to you because guys don't normally do things like that but men are doing more homework and although it is more typical for a woman to come out like that but give the guy some credit don't put to much into or will make him wish he never did that. Be happy he thought about you and move on he meant just what he said okay. You are wonderful that's all now chill girly, much love.

only rely on his actions to make any judgements. words are nice but very cheap. i know too many guys who talk the talk and take great pride in sweet-talking the ladies. red flags should go up when you hear excessive compliments. watch out! there is the rare exception. i repeat rare. do you do a lot of gambling when you get paid? like risk, go in the back room and play some texas hold'em or shoot craps. too sweet i suspect. you have to be a little paranoid in this world. sad but too true. be a little suspicious to protect yourself. just listen and smile. but hide your pocketbook.

Maybe he was trying to be sweet? and/or trying to get you in bed. I tell my girlfriend that every now and then..and it's my way of being a dork and cute at the same time, while showing her I appreciate her for just being her and being with me. Assuming he's your significant other, would you rather have him not say anything at all and them get mad that he never appreciates you? *shrug*..i'd just be happy..btw guys love being appreciated too :).

I tell my gal Melrose that she is wonderful all the time for a numbers of reasons. Most of all she is wonderful because she is herself. Melrose is very caring, witty, charming, smart, and lovely; it is all of these traits in one that make her the wonderful and special person that she is to me.

I also tell her that she is wonderful when she is in the bedroom with me because she is very talented and drives me soooooo crazy when she is naughty.

It was a sweet, off the cuff compliment! Don't mess it up by trying to read anything more into it!!!

He's flirting with you. He wants you to think about what makes you so wonderful in his eyes. If you like him take it as a sign, if you dont like him tell him it makes you feel uncomfortable.
