The fuel companies should be taxed themselves on the amount of fuel that they sell. If you really wanted to try and make people change to renewable etc I think the only way would be taxes - I know it's everyones dread but how else can the issue be resolved?

One thing that really annoys me is that cars especially in America do not have to have MOT's - thus, they could be pumping out more pollution and gasses than they should be. Even worse, the amount of old cars on the road without catalytic converters - the amount of pollution the give off is ten times worse than modern cars today.

Your ? is incomplete; you should claim "internet power yield consistent with __ X__" the position 'X' represents some type of enter to comprehend the yield. If X = $ funding, geothermal is clearly the winner; drill a hollow contained in the floor, connect an enter and output pipe with a small pump & operating fluid. eternal free warmth power is thereby accessible which will properly be utilized right now or easily switched over to electrical energy, the most ideal type of power. The initial cost is amortized contained in the least era of time, and the upkeep of the equipment is minimum.

The world is realizing that indeed it is time to look for better solution to energy - fossil fuel is just at its ending days.

alternative energy sources- green, renewable or whatever- should be examined per each case- places with proper geothermal sources (Nevada, New Zealand) should prefer this. Places with good tide and waves - should look to harness these, and so on.
There are several organizations and companies that focus on this arena, see below links
