It will mean a lot more to her if you don't try to be funny...let your heart speak for you. Let her know that her family will always be there for her. Tell her that you hope to be as lucky as she was in finding love. Let her new husband know that you welcome him into your family.

The maid of honor at a wedding can be regarded as the bride's friend, philosopher, and guide. Therefore, a toast raised by the maid of honor at the wedding, should have words of affection, wisdom, and advice for the newlyweds.

There are lots of great quotes online that you could use as fillers, but you really should speak from your heart and tell her how you feel about the marriage and the couple - only the good stuff.

Please, please, please, don't say anything negative during the toast, it just makes you look tacky. Inside jokes are bad as well.

You can google speeches for this sort of thing. They have humourous, emotional, touching, etc. My girlfriend did this at her sisters wedding and she twisted the ideas around, but got the fundamentals from what she found on the internet. Trust me..it was fantastic!
Good Luck!

Try to bring up nice family memories… but I think the most beautiful think, it would be if you seat alone.. with a piece of paper… and try to write down what are your wishes for her in her new life with the man of her dreams… it’ll be very important for your sister, and for your family to feel you’re sharing her happiness, and you’re wishing her beautiful things…
Another idea, could be make bit of fun.. asking for nieces and nephews, and dogs and cats…

start off by saying that you are so happy that you were main of honour and you are so happy to have gained a brother today. Talk about times you had with your sister and how you are so happy for them both. Welcome the new man into your family and say that you know that they are perfect for one another and will have a wonderful life for the years to come.
