Some may argue that there is and there isn't any risks living near power lines. You should study it and determine if you feel that the risk may out way any argument.

I for one don't want to take the chance of developing health issues due to living near any power lines. You may always wonder if they cause any illness.

I am sorry that your children have been affected. Hopefully you are able to move away from those "Big Power Lines" and get some help from the doctors.

I hope these sources will be helpful. There are other websites to check out as well.

My best friend's son is 35 and has had brain cancer since age 23. This has just reoccurred and is terminal after chemo and brain surgery years ago. The doctor thinks it is a possibility that it is due to the fact that they lived under power lines when he was age 5 for many years. The power lines were close to his bedroom, and no one else was affected. I have read of such cases in the past. I would move! Good luck to you and your family.

I have read information on cancer cells that are located near high power lines. What that means is a specific area has a much higher cancer rate than normanl. So I think it is a possibility. However it could also be related to your new house. Does it have a mold problem? Is it old or new construction? What types of materials were used in construction. All of this may contribute to weird illnesses.

Yes I have heard powerlines can affect the immune system esp. childrens. However some people are more sensitive than others. THese powerlines can generate powerful electromagnetic fields. Im not sure what you can do about it, except move.

If you are still unsure do some research on the net about the effects of living near powerlines and possible solutions.

Investigations have not proven any relationship to any disease process. Pityriasis rosea is a minor self limited skin condition that needs no special consideration.
