I like this one guy but ever since the 7th grade he hated me
then this year 9th grade
we were riding on the bus and he asked if he could kiss me
b4 I could answer he went for it
then we didn't talk until he sighed and asked
"we're still just friends right?"
What happened
I'm just confused
on what the kiss ment

If it had been just a bet, he wouldn't have inquired about still being friends. What did the kiss mean to you? He won't tell you because it may involve a feeling he doesn't deal well with or in the best way. I think he should have waited for an answer on kissing you. If you are as bold as him, inquire if you and he could try it again. Believe it or not there are people who just love to kiss and there is no commitment or serious relationship involved. Crazy huh?

You are still 'a child' and this boy actually 'assulted you' by kissing you in the way you described, whether you 'liked it' or didn't like it. Now he holds 'power' over you because he 'won't tell' you what that kiss 'really meant' ... which tells me that you should NOT 'like' this boy at all, but also that you 'need time to grow up' and find out what it means to be a 'person' before you are 'ready' for a 'relationship' as 'heavy' as your questions seems to imply you want NOW. Yes, you should be starting to 'date' at your age, but you shouldn't be 'starting' with a 'kiss' but with true 'friendship' so the relationship can 'grow naturally' and not be something that you're 'forcing' by going too 'fast.'
And yes, I am 'old' (56) now, but I can remember being in the 9th grade and 'in love' ... and I wish that someone who was my age when I was in the 9th grade told me that I 'needed to grow up' before I was 'ready' ...

if a guy "hates" you, as you described, it does not mean he would not find you attractive. Now that 2 years has passed he feels that attraction, but he's not mature enough to cope with it, you said he hated you, yet after the kiss he asked you if you were still friends. Were you friends to begin with? maybe the kiss was an impulse, or to test your reaction. If he's not mature enough to tell you, just don't keep asking about it, and let him figure out first. remember that girls develop earlier than boys (level of maturity)

Maybe it was a bet he made with another guy that he could get a kiss from you. Boys at that age are very confused. Or maybe he just wanted to test you to see if you like him. Just ask him why he did it and what it meant.

I wouldn't read too much into it. It could have meant many things, but if he hasn't been too nice to you in the past, your just better off not trying to figure him out and play it safe. Just assume you are "just" friends and let him make the next move, but just be careful, because guys at that age like to play games.

Believe me, someone just bet that he wouldn't dare to kiss you. So he went for it. but he doesnt want u to know. he started 2 feel bad bout it n asked if u still were his friend.

He was playing with your emotions. Stop taking him seriously and next time do not be so easy for him to kiss. He wanted to know if he could and found out he could. That was all it was.

he really likes you he just said were still friends because of the way you reacted, he thought you didn't like it so he covered what he did with that either way he had to make a move to see if you liked him . This way he don't look like a fool if you rejected him. If you like him talk to him about it

its the age where guys turn from annoying to assholes. little assholes that think they can get away with stuff. but who knows...maybe he likes you? and was embarressed when you didn't kiss him back. i watched a cartoon one time...arthur? i dunno something on nickelodeon, but this girl liked the guy, but would be a complete ***** and pretend to hate him. i don't understand it...but maybe that's what he's been doing. either that or he's an asshole.
