(it could not be done in local family court according to the judge)

You could have an agreement comprised with a paralegal and notarized by both parties. The agreement could be added to your child custody file as a REIT agreement and the judge just signs it to be added. It is not a court issue and if you ask me, it should not be necessary. If you two really care about the best interest of the kids then you will work it out to benefit them. I really hate it when adults can't seem to agree and compromise with any sense that you both once really loved each other. I hope you take what I am saying as helpful advice. The kids these days have enough drama and stress, without watch their parents fall apart while dragging them with you.

I think this is one of those things where you just need to work together as parents and make a mutual agreement. I don't see why the court would be interested in monitoring your son's extra curricular activities, this has nothing to do with your custody agreement or child support. If you believe his mother is not adequately monitoring his activities and this is putting him in danger then I would bring this up to your lawyer and discuss the possibility of obtaining custody.

talk to a family justice counsellor, they can help you both write up an agreement that has the best interest of the child in focus.
