i go into a chat room to find some one to talk to but it seems that when they ask for pics, webcams,and stuff like that and when u say no they take it a very bad way like rigt now a guy probably thought i was a guy. i am a very poaranoid person i dont like posting my pic's or using web cams because in the day we live in there is a lot of sicos and you have to becareful. we all know that there are not good people in cyber space. all i want is to just talk to a decent person. anyone. but it seems there is no such thing. whats wrong with that just like being pen pals. can anybody plz tells me whats up with that?

I don't know why our world is so messed up either but I agree with you. I hope you'll be able to find someone who just wants to talk and not try to get a picture of you. Good luck and stay safe.

I can understand how you would be careful when conversing on the websites you have mentioned. But sending a picture would not put you in harms way, would it? Some people are just as careful as you are and probably wonder why you hesitate to display your picture. You sound awfully defensive also, is there a reason? If not, then just let people know from the start that all you are interested in is to chat. I believe you should be able to find people that are willing to do the same. Good luck to you!

Most people in chat rooms are either just looking to get off, are child molesters, or cops. Sometimes all three. Most decent people dont bother with chat rooms.

yea i agree. i go to chat and if you dont have a cam or pic. they suddenly dont wanna talk to you. it sux...but hey mabye if your looking for someone, someone like THAT isnt right for you
