just a couple days ago a bunch of guys approached me and i was by myself but only one actually talked to me and the other 3 were at the back following us and he started talking to me and i didnt know how to react so i just ignored him...but i really didnt want to do that but im just too shy to even say anything back and i couldnt think of anything to say

Just relax and be yourself. Say whatever comes to mind as long as it's not too weird or anything. You probably couldn't think of anything to say because you were to worried about what to say. Shy people are introverts, which is not always bad, but try being a little extroverted too. You're as good as anyone else. You must look fine, or you wouldn't have been approached. Relax.

If they say hi, say hi back, obviously they are into you if they are starting a conversation with you. Stay true to yourself and don't be anything but yourself. Stay calm and relaxed and build up some guts and start with some small talk.

I am also shy and end up acting like that too. Don't do it again because believe me the guy will think your a jerk, and that's the honest turth. Just say hi and talk to them.

That's innapropriate for a bunch of guys to just walk up to a lone girl like that.
Stand up for yourself. Tell them off and get to a public location, and get to friends/family as soon as possible.

Don't worry i just behave like you and i don't like it at all. I like a boy who live not far from me and when he tell me good evening i don't react and ignore him. I don't think it's the good way to to have a chance to seduce him.

umm not a safe situation, if you talked to him he could've learned more about you and then before you knew it you could have been over powered by them all.
