Catholic Church's stance, at the moment? It is a chance for Muslims and Christians to stand together against pending legislation by Tony Blair's government. So why arn't Muslims speaking out as well? Is homosexuality ok in Islam?

it's actually a good question.

I can read between the lines on this question. What this person really means is that the Muslims have a stronger voice in this country as the government bends over for them all the time.

If the Muslims protested this the government would take note and the gays wouldn't dare to cause them bigots and criticise their religion.

The christians just want someone else to take a bit of heat of them, which i fair enough seeing they both believe the same thing.

i'm professional-determination yet i keep in mind that there are rather some children on waiting lists in foster amenities or orphanages. lots of them purely isn't followed and it breaks my heart. I actually help gay couples adopting those children truly than those children by no ability understanding what's to have the love of a ascertain. i imagine professional-lifers would fluctuate on those themes as no longer all professional-lifers are anti-gay or homophobic. i imagine there are a selection of professional-lifers that would truly have a gay couple than see a lady having an abortion.

There is nothing wrong with homosexual couples adopting children and the Catholics hypocritical stance against it does not make it wrong. Before the Catholic church starts any sort of stance against homosexuals they should look to the mote in their own eye

I think that all depends on the rich countries like UK, France, Italy, USA and so on. If these countries want they may create the special law. But they do not want . Why? All understand. Any religion can not do anything. They do not have power and they obey the presidents and the goverment of the above countries. This is my opinion.

MUSLIMS ARE WITH US ALL THE WAY. BUT THE PROBLEM IS WE SAY THEY R TOO STRICT

4,000 homosexuals have been executed in Iran since their revolution in 1979. 10 public executions of homosexuals have been performed in Afghanistan by the Taliban army.

I don't know, but are you kidding? The Catholic Church protecting children against being adopted by gays is great - but are they doing it to get the focus off the fact that they time and time again hid priests who they knew took advantage of Children? God knows, I don't.
It just seems kind of weird that they would take any stance against gay couples wanting to adopt a child, when the true fact is that the same child, whether adopted by gays or not, is still to this very day in jeopardy if they are let alone in the rectory with some of the priests????
The Catholic Church has no right to point fingers in this matter, thats for sure.

its of no interest to them what do you think they do before they marry they are not allowed to go with a woman,

a good few years ago Wakefield city social services gave one of the first gay couples the right to foster, they thought nothing wrong with them asking to just foster boys???, last year they finally found out that from day one they were abusing the children they fostered can not remember the out come in court but it should never of happened to those children,

Homosexuality is not OK in Islam. In Islam there is freedom of religion. There is also the verse that says "Let there be no compulsion..........". You can't force him/her to stop doing what they are doing. And raising orphans and doing good to them is reccommended in Islam, so long as they are not exploited or forced into sex. As long as they are cared for, healthy, given an education, and whatever inheritance they have is left alone for them to use as adults, it's not a problem.

No, Homosexuality is not allowed in Islam.

They way I honestly see it, these people are only adding to their sins and on The Day of Judgment they will be recompensed for what they used to do.

We are working with our brothers and sister in faith to prevent this evil sin from being accepted by law
