About a year- that's when they finish growing physically for the most part. Of course, they may fill out a bit more after the initial year (into 2-3 years), but they'll pretty much be as big as they're gonna be at a year. This applies to both American Staffordshires and Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

Mentally, they won't be fully mature until they're about 2.

This is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier? Generally, you can expect a dog to reach adult size at about a year. Smaller breeds tend to reach adult size sooner, while some giant breeds can grow for up to two years. But for a dog that size, you can expect it to be at adult size at about ten to twelve months - keeping in mind, of course, that it could still fill out and pack on some pounds.

puppies usually stop growing when they are about 6 mo. to a year old.
