Hello everyone, I have been designing my tattoo for a couple of weeks now, and it's almost done.(I am a good artist, but not a tattoo artist). This tattoo has sentimental meaning and I really wanna get it but my ex-girlfriend is throwing a fit. She still has feeling for me but I'm just wondering if most women find men with tattoo's attractive.

You know, that's funny. My boyfriend broke up with me and then had this outta nowhere desire to get a tattoo - I argued against it for awhile, but he went and did it anyway. A big ugly tattoo on his front lower thigh - very bad if you ask me. Tattoos are not attractive.

First of all, if she's your ex, why should her opinion be an issue?
There are plenty of women out there who love tattoos, love men, and love tattoos on men. When I see a good looking guy (or woman) with a well-done tattoo, I just melt. And if a person is really into you, then the tattoo should not matter.
When you're done with the picture and ready to get your tattoo, bring a copy to the artist that you a planning to have do the work in advance of your appointment. He will be able to give suggestions on the composition, clean up the lines and refine it so that you get the best result possible.

There are a lot of variables. It all depends on the guy, the tattoo, and where you want to get it. For the most part, if it is a classy tattoo, done by a good tattoo artist and in a good spot, then yes it can be pretty attractive.

I don't mind a tattoo on a man. If a woman will dismiss you just because you have a tattoo, then she is not worth your time. A person should like you for what is inside, not what is on your body. A tattoo is a personal choice. It has nothing to do with the opinion of anybody but you. It will be on your body, not hers.
P.S. I would advise you to carefully consider the placement of your tattoo; most professional jobs will require that all tattoos be covered at work, so as not to potentially offend prospective clients.

I really dont care one way or another I find men with tattoos attractive....and why is the EX-girlfriend throwing a fit???? shes not the one getting the tattoo...tell her to throw a fit somewhere else

I have no problem with tattoos, in fact they can be very sexy on the right guy. If a guy is already sexy then the tattoo won't matter.
Then again a bad/dumb/disgusting and bad means a lot of things from badly done, to badly place to bad subject matter can take away from a guy.
There will be some girls who won't like it. However, it's who you are that should matter the most really; if a girl cannot see past your outside why would you want to be with her anyway?

OK the key word here is EX and yeah know what who gives a s hit what people think if yeah have a tattoo it doesn't change the person you get the tattoo for you not someone else...
for the record I have quit a few of them and yes some people find them attractive and some don't but who cares right.........

i love tattoos on men. sleeves and big ones that the man really committed too are the best. a tribal on their arm, or small ones are stupid. either get a big one, or go home. Also, if guys have tons of tattoos, or just one. its always good to consider how you will look naked. I'm serious, you could look really funny.
When i got my tattoo, the first thing i did was got the stencil, went in the bathroom of the tattoo shop, and saw how i would look naked. i hope this helps. and by the way, isn't she your ex girlfriend...ex being the key word.

I think a simple tattoo is very sexy, but don't go overboard. I love upper arms and the back or chest but it also depends what you get tattooed too. If you have an upside down cross, snakes with skulls and daggers or my personal favorite, a girl spread eagle. These tattoos would be a big turn off, or any woman's name.(except "mom").

It's not the tattoos that make you attractive to someone it's all your personality! Don't let anyone tell you different.

1. Why does it matter what your EX girlfriend thinks?
2. I do not find men with tattoos attractive. That doesnt mean however that you shouldnt get one. If you want to, go for it. What does it matter what I think or anyone else. You probably wouldnt find me attractive so it doesnt matter if I think you would be with a tattoo. Do what makes you happy.
