Hi people. I have Kia optima 2004, and have just installed Pioneer speakers (TS-6962R 250 WAtt), and they're not doing good, sound is not clear and not loud enough.
friend of mine told me I need good amp or new deck(of course i am still using factory deck).
I browsed several stores and really need one, I really don't have any clue about those, but what i need is it should be able to play MP3 and WMA, with pretty screen-display. got budget around $150-180.
Please, help me find a player that will work with my new speakers, so loud and so clear and so crisper!!!!

Appreciate all your answers..

Don't get anything but Alpine. You are guaranteed to be satisfied

It depends on how you like the quality of your music if you get an mp3 deck.

You lose quality with mp3, but you can fit more on a disc.
It will show title and track info with mp3's, but most Cd's you buy now have CD text embedded anyway.

In my opinion, you are better off getting a radio with an auxiliary in for an ipod if you want all your songs in 1 place, rather than pay the extra $ for mp3 function.

I assure you it is the terrific answer dude. the terrific sound high quality is performed by ability of connecting the ipod interior the direction of the aux enter of the unit. they have not have been given any interference from FM alerts, no noise from the tape participant. Now, your automobile has a tape participant, why do no longer you alter it for an o.e.m radio that have, mp3, wma, many different cool beneficial properties, greater useful, greater powerful sound high quality and so as that they have iPOD waiting INPUTS that allow you to administration the ipod from the controls of your head unit, additionally exhibiting song tittle, artists, folder, and so on. So in case you already spent the money on your ipod why do no longer you purchase a clean CD participant which will value you lots greater much less costly than a similar ipod? utilising FM transmitter you will lose the clean crystal sound because of the fact the alerts ARE constantly recent. The modulators and different components artwork by ability of lowering the amplitude of the FM sign to a component you very almost do no longer hear it. as long because of the fact the antenna is bodily linked you will have noise. FM waves return and forth everywhere in the air so there is no way you may not purely block it.

just look for a decent name brand (Sony, Kenwood, etc...) and plan on spending over $100. most cheap ones suck. good place to go is crutchfield.com or best buy, circut city. (try to stay away from wal mart crap) and talk to the Representative when your not shure. Alot of headunits now play mp3 and wma disks that fit over 300 songs easilly. also, make shure to get the wiring adapter for your car, and if you are not comfortable with wireing most decent places offer some kind of installation.

if you have pioneer speakers i have always found it best to go with 1 brand all throughout the system. pionneer has some good decks and amp for a good price! if u have a best buy in your town i would check them first. they have a good selection and most of there techs actually know what they are talking bout!! good luck!!

Check out Crutchfield, online, before deciding. Their catalog and web site are full of great information.

The first thing you need to check is the chassis size for your KIA if you plan on using the factory location. Their site has what you need.

Don't bother with CDs, they're on the way out, get a decent MP3 player instead.
