It's recommended you do it at least 3 times 20 mins at a time per week, but more is always better, and you will find yourself craving to do more after a couple of weeks....one of the best forms of fitness out there.....you won't believe how great you look and feel within the first month. you'll also feel taller and leaner. I would do no more than 4 times in a week...basically a Monday/Wednesday/Friday deal for 3 times in a week is good to start with and once you have been doing this for a couple of months add something else like power yoga or TaiChi...

Once you have been training for more than a year you can do what I'm doing now...power yoga Monday/Thursday, Tai Chi Tuesday/Friday and Pilates Wednesday/Saturday. That is 6 days, but I'm not doing any of these more than twice in a week....

I also run, cycle and lift on those days too....but I'm an athelete in training...the average joe doesn't need to do all that...

I do it three times a week. I have been doing it for several years and it is a great way to keep my figure. I also do Yoga and Kenpo as well. Your body needs to rest...so don't over do it.
