Okay.
First, I tried this light brown color. It looked fine on my roots, but the tips [which were black] didn't go the same color.
Okay. So I went back and bought a bleaching kit.
Haha.
My hair is quite lovely colors now.
Lets see the tips are redish orangeish golden strawberry blonde. [the color of mustard and ketchup mixed pretty much] and the roots are pale yellow.
Hm. Terribly ugly.
Will dying it light blonde even it out a little?
What other color can I take it other than black?
Will dying it one more time make it all fall out? :|
3 rounds of hair dye is like equal to probably getting your hair stripped a few times. =/
Help and advice would be highly appreciated.

You are in serious need of a vitamin C treatment. It will restore your hair from the dying abuse plus neutralize the color. Then color with an ash tone. Deep ash blonde (almost brown) or regular ash blonde. You may need to go to the salon and purchase the vitamin C treatment.

Ok there are few things you should do before you dye your hair again. I'm not an expert but I have been dying my hair since I was 15(we had hard water and my hair would turn green).

1. Start using a Shampoo that stimulates and takes care of your scalp. Graham Webb make a product called Ice Cap. I love it makes your scalp tingle. Your scalp needs some TLC from all the chemicals you have been using. But any kind of scalp treatment shampoo is good.

2. Repair the hair you have. Do a deep conditioning treatment. You would have gotten a deep conditioner with your hair color. I suggest applying a large amount of that to your hair put a plastic shower cap over your head. Then take your hair dryer on the low setting and just go over the top of your head with the heat. This will warm the conditioner and give you a really deep condition.

3. Sometimes you can get a shampoo that strips your hair of built up chemicals and the damage you have done to it. I used to use this stuff that was a clarifier from Scruples when my hair got really damaged from swimming. It took all the green out of my hair from the clorine.

4. Try and pick a color that compliments you. From the picture your hair looks very light. Try and go with a warmer color. My favorite brand that I use is Feria by L'Oreal. I suggest going darker all one color. Going darker will DYE your hair all one color. Going lighter will "bleach" out the hair and will more then likely damage you hair more then do it good. I would also get you ends trimmed up as much as possible. From the photo your ends looked a bit dry cutting those dry ends will help your hair look and feel more healthy.

You could do it at home, box dye isn't THAT bad for your hair (but it would be better to go to a salon). You could use medium brown/auburn or darker, don't use anything lighter than that because it won't cover the red-orange and it certainly won't take it out. Also I know the box says to put it on dry, unwashed hair but have it a little damp when you put the color on. This will help your hair accept the color more evenly since your ends are probably very porous and they will suck in more color than the box intended.

Oh dear. 'Tis a lovely shade of orange, indeed.

I say cut it off in a short and cute new 'do and start again ! DON'T ever dye your hair again. Natural is best.
Condition your hair like mad, and don't wash it more than once a week. It looks like it's going to snap off any minute.

(I had a similar experience to yours a couple years ago, and I have seen the light now. Natural is always best. I have forbidden hair dressers, hair dye and any hair products other than my very mild shampoo and conditioner. My hair is plain brown, but man, it's an AMAZING vibrant healthy brown.)

FIrst of all, go to a professional. You may THINK you're saving money, but you're not. Secondly, I would suggest dying your hair brown. Black is nearly impossible to remove, and you should never go black again....ever! I would go brown, so you won't have to bleach it out much. And then leave it alone for a while so that it has time to get stronger. Like, leave it alone for 4-6 months (if you can.)

You need to mix a little laundry detergent in with your shampoo. It might take 3-4 times but shampoo that mixture in your hair & it will take away all that bleaching & Dying you have down to your hair...
