I work a lot of hours and find it more convenient to eat the same thing every day. I have been eating like this for almost a month now I feel great and have no complaints about the diet but friends tell me I could be deficient in certain vitamins and minerals. Im not eating like this to lose weight, its just easier for me and im not bothered by it. (Although I think I have lost a couple of pounds:) ). Is there something Im missing or may need to add?
This is my daily diet.

Breakfast- large bowl of sugar free musli with unsweetened soy milk

Lunch- One slim-fast shake or other "instant meal in a can"

Dinner- 2 cups of steamed mixed veggies with a can of tuna (in water) mixed in.

I make sure to take a multi vitamin daily.
I sometimes snack on mixed nuts between meals (but not always)
I also have a bit of a diet pepsi addiction sometimes drinking as many as 6 a day.

Please let me know what you think....

You need to get rid of that Det Pepsi addiction! Try to drink water instead. Diet Pepsi...although it has no calories... does have hurtful chemicals that will hurt you in the long run. (drinking too much soda may cause Kidney stones!) Other than that you seems to be eating healthy and in moderation. Keep up the daily vitamin & you will be fine.

The worst thing I see is the diet pepsi, that is really, really, really bad. Do some reading on artificial sweeteners and switch to water. If you add a squeeze of lemon or lime it makes it more interesting and even healthier.
I know a guy who actually got mercury poisoning from eating too much tuna, but it was a long time ago and I don't remember how much he was eating, it was a lot.
It's good that you're taking vitamins, but you are missing some of the micronutrients you'd get from a varied diet.
If you really don't want to make too many changes right now, dump the pepsi - I can't stress enough how bad that is - and try varying the tuna with chicken, salmon or other protien sources.
Good luck!

Sounds healthy to me. You're getting plenty of vitamins in the cereal and the slim fast shake is nutritionally balanced, so you're getting it there as well. Plus, the vitamin pretty much covers any missed bases. East exactly the same thing every day may be a little odd to your friends, but it doesn't sound like you're missing anything. Some fruit would be nice, but I think the veggies are more important. May want to cut down on the diet pepsi, or at least switch to caffeine free diet, because drinks with caffeine in them do not count as water consumption, as they are diuretics.

You are missing fruits and fiber.
Breakfast - Bowl of instant oatmeal (regular flavor) with raisins or banana and maybe a little honey for sweetener.
Lunch - try a Healthy Choice or Weight Watchers entree for more veggies.
Dinner - you need other meats beside tuna. Try boneless, skinless chicken breast and lean grd beef.
Soy milk is not good for men. Soy isoflavones are similar to estrogen. Yea, that female hormone. Try Rice Dream for cereal.
And you should kick that soda habit. It's bad for your teeth, digestion and weight loss, even if it's diet. And you already know why if you drink 6/day. Drink water and green tea.

If you're taking a multi-vitamin you should be okay. I would personally add some supplements to my diet (calcium, iron, b-complex) add up what you are eating compared to what you should be eating. Supplements and vitamins are not as healthy or as complete as getting the nutrients from food, but I don't think you're putting your health at risk.

The foods you are eating are healthy but you're definately not consuming enough calories. Also Diet Pepsi has aspartame in it and excess consumption can cause negative effects in some people.

You could use more dairy - mix that muesli with whole natural yogurt instead of soy milk. And you didn't mention water - swap a couple of pepsis for water.
