that's what good roosters do..they crow. the only think I can think of is, keeping them in a dark place. When it is "bed time" put him in a dark barn. If there is no light he won't crow. Cock-a -doodle-do!

That won't stop the crowing. The sound comes from the throat of the bird and not the tongue. Besides, you could be prosecuted for animal cruelty.

yes if you cut your roosters tongue out it will stop crowing!!! but of course i doubt it would be living either! it'd probably bleed to death; but thanks for the 2 points on such a retarded question; if you don't like the sounds they make... dont get them!

I can't believe you even thought of that! That is animal cruelty. They need their tongues to eat and to drink. You either need to get rid of them if they bother you that much or learn to love it.
