Maybe she has a UTI infection or pyrometria, which is a serious infection cats and dogs get of the uterus. Regardless, she may need to see the VET. If she is not spayed, she may be in heat, which that should also be addressed so you will not have unwanted litters of kittens.

Could she be in heat? Is her tail straight up in the air? This could be it. Does she look in pain or just psycho?
Check the back of her legs and her anus for any spurs, splinters, abscesses or bug stings. Make sure to look under the fur. If you see anything like this you might have to take her to the vet.

She may have a urinary tract infection. That's more or less how my cat behaved when she had one.

But instead of getting a bunch of people who've never seen your cat to speculate about it, why don't you take her to the vet? Like right now, today!

Why are you still sitting in front of your computer? Take the cat to the vet!

She may be in heat or she could have impacted anal glands. If its impacted anal glands, the cats rectum will be red and swollen. I would at the very least, call the vet and explain the cats symptoms and she what they suggest.

Probably in heat....try scratching her back right above her tail, that usually will help relieve the discomfort, at least temporarily.
