You might try to learn some favorite expressions, sentences, by heart. If this is difficult for you in the beginning, you might try with simple sentences, even with phrase one and then phrase two of a sentence. As you will discover that some of them are easier for you to remember than others, you might spend some of your time in concentrating on the difficult ones, on unfamiliar ones, until you are able to remember complex and unfamiliar types of sentences. Then you might discover that it becomes more and more easy for you to remember sentences you just have "seen", just as something "visual" or even better. Verbals are like swimming - exercises are necessary for you to familiarize, to master, and then remember, and so to remember familiar or just recognizable verbal patterns. If you then go further that way, you might even and easily become able to remember verbals whose meaning you don't know, just like you do with something visual, no matter how young or old you are. You must just be endowed with some enthusiasm about it. Aha! No?

by memorizing things . . . its only the truth . . . start memorizing small poems, special dates of history, quotes stuff like that your memory will just start expanding. Do it as often as possible and then quiz yourself on the older things you memorized.
