YES and the number is growing. I saw the Dean of Washington University speak at my church, he's a Christian and has his PhD in Science. He's also a Creationist. The concept that all Born again Christians are stupid is a myth.

Yes a scientist can be a Christian, there are many who are. There is nothing wrong with science, the only thing is don't let it over ride the Concept that God is real and can't be explained by science. But sure a Scientist can be a Christian Look at Albert Enstine I think that is how you spell it anyway he was a Christian and one of the greatest scientist ever. I hope that helps you.

Yes there are some very intelligent scientists that are also Christians. TBN had and may still have a program about science, taught by a scientist. Everything had something to do with mathematical formulas. It was really over my head, but you could check to see if its still on TV if you want.

If you're alluding to that old chestnut about science vs. religion, I'd say yes. Although the two may not agree about evolution, and stem cell research, there is really nothing that would prevent anyone of any religion from entering the field of scientific research. A scientist can be faithful to his beliefs and still pursue his profession, even if the two are diametrically opposed. It would depend on the individual and his conscience. Albert Einstein was Jewish, but if his peers in the field invited him for a ham dinner, all he would have to do is either accept or decline, depending on his degree of following the dietary laws of his faith. But it would hardly prohibit him from pursuing his chosen field.

Yes. There are many different types of scientist. Most people believe in both science and religion.

Silly question - yes. Of course, there are many flavors of "Christian" (and different flavors of scientist). You would be very hard-pressed to be a full-on dinosaurs-lived-with-humans Evangelical and still be a competent scientist.

Yep, I'm studying to become a scientist and I'm a Christian.

Totally and completely. God created everything, He set everything in motion, He made all the natural laws, so it is great for His people to look for Him there, to marvel at His wonderous works.
Here's a cool website by Christian scientists that I find quite fascinating.

A scientist can be anything and a christian can be anything. No law against that. Self-definition is an inalienable human right.
