I was dancing and my cat was behind me but i didnt see her and i think i might have kicked her in the head. she was closing the cat equivalent to eyelids half of the way and now the same eye has a really small pupil. is she blind? will her vision come back if so? this happened 5 minutes ago. she is about 2 and a half years old.

About no chance for her to be blind. My cat became blind cause it was getting very old and we could see it because it couldn't direct itself easily (going in walls and stuff like that)

Just wait and see, if you think nothing is getting better by tomorrow, there might be a problem. But usually, cats are pretty tough and it takes them no time to come back in shape.

Your cat is young so not much worry here

We had a cat that got hit by a car and went blind. We had to lock her in a bedroom and she got around by smell and familiarity. After a couple weeks, however, she got her sight back and was as good as new!

It doesn't sound like anything is really wrong with your kitty. Take her to the vet if you are worried. As long as the pupils in each eye are the same size as each other, and react to light or excitement, she's fine. I wouldn't worry.

When a cat is blind their pupils are large! You may have accidentally caused some brain damage (one pupil smaller than the other). Take her to the vets immediately!!

Whenever you see an animal that might have eye or maybe problems relating to something similiar concusion you have to go to a vet. With such a young pet you should act fast because they can bounce back. Call your vet they'll tell you maybe wait a little while and see or rush her in.
Good luck.

Call the vet and see what they have to say about it. It may just be nothing that won't heal itself after a while, but if you're paranoid, and want to find out for sure... Call/ go to the vet.

Good luck, hope all is well!

Call a vet, she probably isn't blind but you probably injured her.

If she is blind i think it may be unrelated to the kick.
