Ancient man worshiped what are called master animals, cave bear, bull, ram, elephant and others. Worship of the Sun and moon didn't come until man started farming and used the Sun and moon for calender reasons for crop planting. Examples of animal worship can be seen in Native American Cultures, the buffalo for plains Indians and the walrus in Eskimo society. The Sun and Moon in pre-Colombian Aztec, Maya and Inca. The former were hunters, the later farmers.

your question is too vague to answer. by "cave age" do you mean pre-literate (pre-historic) society?
The answer is no they didn't all worship rocks, the sun and moon. You are too terribly far off, but it's more complex than that. There are many different cultures and societies, even back then and they had different beliefs.
Religion got richer as society became more advanced. Why that is, differs by which expert you ask.

There are no longer cave people. I know the Geico commercial would lead you to believe that, but it's simply not true. We have learned that those people weren't too bright and therefor found the one true GOD who we choose to worship. Thank you and good luck with your quest on finding the remaining cave people.

Mine might want to be heights and wasps. i'm frightened of wasps and my worst nightmare is being trapped in a motor vehicle with one which has befell many cases lol. If I see one outdoors i am going to make effective you get as far remote from it as conceivable lol. Its poor contained in the summer season as I actually have a largish backyard out the front of my abode with a hedge operating up the driveway and flowery putting baskets and trees merely outdoors my door. i appreciate body spray so I continuously spray some earlier I were given out. besides contained in the summer season its poor, I even ought to really run out the door and up the driveway as quick as i am going to otherwise the wasps and bees will be swarming round me very instantly.
