I think they're having a party for everyone in this class to celebrate the end of the class and they basically implied that everyone with the class was invited but never talked to me about it. What makes me wonder is I don't really drink (though I don't mind going to parties where people drink) and the person who organized it was talking to some other people who don't drink and was trying to convince them to go but never talked to me. And the thing is I haven't really talked to people lately I've been withdrawn and I have a reputatition for never going to parties, (but I hardly ever get invited)

Organizing a party can be a lot of work and sometimes a person slips up and forgets to mention it to someone. It sounds like you know the organizer so simply approach them and say, "I heard there is a party coming up. Is there anything I can do to help?"

This is a perfect way to solve the problem and keep anyone from being embarassed!

Haven't you already posted this question?...and I told you to go-if they imply everyone is invited-go. And, I've told you before I don't drink either, and the people that I party with don't care; even when I am invited to a frat party and stuff-they respect that-they love me for who I am, and not ridicule me because I don't drink or not invite-that would be so ridiculous, unless they are shallow like that-you have nothing to worry about! I'm 19 btw! It's ok hunny..trust me!

When they say that everyone in the class is invited and you are in that class then that means you are invited too. they probably havent talked to you because you usually don't go to parties therefore they probably think that you are not interested. So I think that you should show some interest like asking what time or where it is so that they know that ou will be attending.

It doesn't sound like they were deliberately not inviting you. If you want to go, go, they're hardly going to ask you to leave. Perhaps people assume you won't want to go because you have a reputation for not going and that's why they don't invite you. Just go, show them that you are actually fun to have at a party. They won't overlook you next time.

Just go and don't drink. I've been to a party or 2 and didn't feel pressured to drink.

You're better off not making a quick appearance and leaving, because there will be drinking and things you really don't want to be envolved in. Or just don't go.

Go to the party. You don't have to drink to have fun.

Be more assertive and talkative. People may think you are stuck up. Be more friendly and out-going.
