Why are young married men so prone to cheat ?

I've known 3 young supposedly happily married men, who have cheated on their wive's almost from the day they got married.
What gives ?

I know the old ones cheat. They seem to think it's their God given right. I've heard more b.s. stories about "my wife doesn't understand me............etc."
One of my friends is a devout Catholic who's been cheating on his wife for years, including the time they were engaged.

I'm aware of how many women who cheat every chance they get. More guys I know will readily admit to cheating and are proud of it, almost like it's part of their vows. They claim that it's better to have an open marriage than one where you're committed to one person until death do you part.
My guy friends are deathly afraid that their wive's will find out, but it doesn't slow them down one iota.

Because there is too much temptation out in the world, and people aren't perfect. Not just guys, either -- I've always been faithful to my husband but I did find myself having feelings for someone else.

The bottomline is...emotions sometimes get the best of you. You'll find a million hypocrites out there acting like they're above temptation, but don't let them fool you. Temptation happens -- some of us are good at saying no, others aren't. If you're young especially, working at a marriage is hard work. So, many choose to get away from it in ways other than through a divorce.

I don't think it's right, but it DOES happen -- to guys and to women,too! But, never think that making the decision to cheat is easy, it's really not for most people.
