When normal heterosexual ( not gay ) boys hang out together they develop a very strong bond.

This bond sometimes goes on for years and years.

During this stage girls are seen as strange and almost alien.

Under normal circumstances when they reach puberty and testosterone kicks in the bond is still there, but they start noticing
girls and wanting to pay more attention to them.

This is sometimes a very difficult transition and it does not happen to all boys at the same age or in the same way.

It could be the object of your affection is ready for you and his friend feels he will be very lonely when you take his close mate away.

It could also be neither is ready for that yet.

Girls mature faster than boys, this is why they end up going out with older boys( I don't recommend this because it can lead to real trouble ).

So don't worry about getting your boy alone, find things you can all 3 do together.

Just have fun, enjoy life as it comes and don't try to grow up to fast.

This is a wonderful time in your life!

There is no need to rush it.

Good Luck.

Get out previously something can take position you may like him yet hes now unlikely to be the purely boy and he would properly be retaining for your perfect pal he likes her more suitable! Hes a participant of he loved uu he wouldnt imagine two times about uure pal! in the experience that your pal is going for him then purely be supportive no count number hoe a lot it hurts because i doubt it will be invariably!

Just a thought because I have seen it happen.

His friend may have liked you first and made it known to his friend that he liked you, which means that the friend is being disloyal.

The other thing is the friend is just worried that you may replace him in the friend stakes

Go out with him!! That is his best friends problem, not yours. You should not feel guilty for doing nothing wrong.
