St Martin (some spell it St Maarten) was awesome. Beautiful beaches, great food, nice hotels, nice people, lots to do. There is a French side and a Dutch side which both offer very different experiences. Go Dutch side if you are looking to party and meet people as there are tons of clubs, casinos, etc. Go French side if you are looking for something a little more quiet and romantic. The food is better and the hotels are nicer but there is not as much to do. Now is peak season. If you wait until May you will avoid the rush. You will get great deals there but it will be very quiet. Go now and you will spend more but the island will be jumping.
Have fun!!

I just vacationed in Ethiopia and it was the best trip of my life. Depending on where you are coming from the plane ticket is expensive BUT when you get there it is very cheap. 1 American dollar is around 8.7 Ethiopian Birr. You you are a rough type of traveler you can take buses and hitchhike around the country (like I did). If you are NOT that type you can check yourself into the Sheraton (supposed to be one of the nicest hotels in Africa) and simply enjoy the friendly people and beautiful weather... It is a vacation of a lifetime!

we really liked Maui...It has beaches, mountains, rainforests, the ocean, hawaiian culture, volcanoes, snorkeling, surfing, beautiful weather, biking, great food, hiking....it has a lot. We were there for 10 days roughly and our days were pretty packed full of things to do. It did help that my cousin lives there and he was our tour guide.
