There's a older woman I'm interested in getting to know better but she has nothing on her profile other than the vitals (age, location, marital status, race, etc).
Now does that mean she's open to anything? What does a woman with nothing on her profile other than the vitals mean?

If you're interested in an older woman who is on an on line dating site, who has just posted the basics, she may just be very cautious, because people have to be, when going to an online dating site. I was on an on line dating site a few year's ago & there was a questionairre each member had to fill out. ( ie: do you smoke, height, weight, race, etc) We then had to write a brief paragraph about ourself. That's necessary for compatability reasons. Some members presented a very vague description of themselves. Those who refused to fill out the info were banned from the site. I read many comments from people, both men & woman, who were turned off to those who remained a big mystery to everyone. If you're interested in an older woman, who hasn't said much about herself, then just ask her some basic questions to get to know her & if she doesn't seem willing to talk about herself, then move on. One gets on the online dating sites, to meet people, not to remain "mute." Good luck!!!
FYI: Piss On You... ie: Your comment....Why do you assume that people who are on, on line dating sites are "desperate?" I was lonely...not desperate...there is a big difference!!!! I met a wonderful man from my state, who was not "desperate," but "lonely" like me & after really getting to know each other via e-mails, IM'g, & phone calls, we began dating & a year & a half later we became engaged.

Maybe she is still working on making her profile and it show that she feels uncomfortable about the whole situation. Maybe it is her first time on line. Maybe she doesn't have current pictures. It could be a number of reasons. Why don't you ask her? You have nothing to lose if you ask.

A-She's lazy
B-She can't type
C- She can't be bothered with it as has better things to do with her time.
D- She's boring and her life is devoid of anything apart from her vitals.
E- Well the possibilities are endless... at least I hope she's got a picture up and it's actually hers, not that of someone prettier, younger and slimer...

i'd be very leary. She could be trying to be very careful. i mean hey there are alot of mean men out there and myself if i was single I wouldn't go there anyhow i would go places and meet people me from old school just maybe this is just being careful. so take it slow and see if shes a good person which i figure she must be.

Just ask her about what's missing on her profile. Ask her how old she is. Ask her where she lives. etc.. There's nothing wrong with asking!
