Where can you get the cheapest alcohol? Grocery stores?

try Cosco or Sam's club...maybe even super wal-mart, but I don't drink wine so good luck with that one

Depends on where you are, what you want. In the south, the cheapest american beer is at Wal-Mart. In the northeast, you want full liquor stores.

I've never seen the grocery store be the best place, they'll charge you a dollar or two extra for everything because of the convience of getting alcohol along with your bread and milk.

I live in Canada.. So it's expensive here.. But I just came home from a vacation in the states.. and it's cheapest at Wal-Mart! Believe it or not.. that is if you live in the states.

We bought beer and when we got to the counter it was like 3 dollars cheaper than what it was advertised for.

I noticed that the drug chain stores like CVS, RiteAid, etc have the best prices. No idea why. Grocery stores sometimes have sales on their beer & wine. As for hard liquor in MI it NEVER goes on sale!

Never Never Never buy liquor from a convenience store or specialty liquor store because you'll be grossly overcharged. That is unless you want something imported, rare, or a microbrew.

ive found that large grocery stores, and even a CVS or Walgreens can have cheaper booze than a liquor store will.

I am sure you already know that it varies from country to country
and usually by state or province or prefecture, etc., within the country.

Trader Joes. $3 bottles of wine & $3 six packs. No liquor though.
