I'm not sure how old you are but I know what it's like to be in love. If the feeling is mutual between the two of you then he will wait. If he respects your parent's decision and will wait, then you know you have someone you need to hold on to. Talk to your parents and see if they will meet him or allow him over so they can meet him. You should never lie to your parents. I know I use to tell them I was with a friend and really, I was with my boyfriend. Talk to your parents and tell them that you really want to see this guy and you don't want to lie to them because you respect them too much. Trust me, this might work, slowly but it might work. Good luck to you. Oh yeah I assumed that you were a girl and it was a guy you were talking about. If not, I apologize. (just flip the he's and she's around until it makes sense)

I'm 16 and still not allowed to date. If I loved that person I would take the time to get to know them and go out in groups with him and my other friends. It more fun that way :)

You could a: respect the wishes of whoever told you you weren't allowed to date, and simply go out in group settings, which tecnically isn't dating, and talk on the phone and hope that the person you love respects you and the fact that you follow your parents or whoevers wishes.

or b: be a rebel and lie to your parents and go out on dates anyways.

I'd go with a, but its your choice. It depends on your age and what you believe. Good luck!

You don't give the reason why you are not allowed to date the boy. Are you too young in your parents view. If so you must prove to them by your behaviour at home and school that you are mature enough to proceed. You will have to convince them that you are. Is it a religious issue. Is it a race issue. Without some of the 'facts' a more thorough answer is impossible.

Good luck...............

I know this is hard to understand, but the love you feel now will be trumped by the love you feel later in life. It is the strongest emotion you have felt before, and in time that emotion will mean more, and become stronger. But now, you are young, enjoy your youth, enjoy being a kid, keep it lighthearted, and friends.........if it is real true love, it will endure, it will not weaken, it will only grow stronger.......Love is like a river....no matter what you put in front of it, Love will find a way.

I assume from your question that you are quite young. You probably are not allowed to date because your parents care about you, and worry about you.

You can still see this person in the daytime (like, where did you meet?), in school? the park, a pizza place, the mall, a birthday party, etc.

You know that it happen to me and I so in love with my wife and she was so much in love with me and I asked her parent permission to marry their daughter. and they said yes... But my mother said no... What did I do????

I told her I am going to marry her and she told me she not the righ tperson blah blah balh... I told her you know you not going to live long... I am going to marry her. I got married went to court house and got married in Oct. told my mother Nov. LOL... so then she so pissed off at me blah blah blah and invited her to thanksgiving to visit my wife family and boy she make the fool out of me. So I told her to leave when next day. and she did and I kick her out of my life.

Guess what we been married for 9 years and 2 kids between 3 and 2 and 3rd due in march 2007... see we knew we love each other so much so we got married and I am glad i didn't follow what my mom said.

So, if you both love eachother so much just ingore what they say and you and him need to find out... if they don't let you date how in the world we know if we don't try??? your mother dad and friend date and to find out and they not letting you that not fair.

Talk to your parents about it maybe they'll respect that u came to talk instead of sneaking behind their backs. But if u really are to young to date maybe u should wait.

If you really are in love, your love can stand the test of time and you can wait.
