It's blocked by the recipient's mail server. right-click on the file on your hard drive and change it to .piz. Send it and tell the recipient to right-click and change it back to .zip. It should work just fine.

Thats because a zip file is binary. Many firewalls which scan email attachments will reject a binary attachment since it could be malicious executable code containing a worm or virus.
You are most likely running into this problem. There are some workarounds but if the attachment is not enormous in length, then send it unzipped and it will go through.

It could be that even though your .zip file does'nt contain any viriuses the security protocals of the mail server you are sending too does not allow .zip files. What yopu can do is save the file as a .zip and then before you attach it to the e-mail change the extention and tell the recipent to change it back to a .zip.

If you are sending from a Work account, or from behind a Firewall, it may recognise the ZIP file as a disallowed file. Rename the ending to DOC and tell the person you are sending it to, that they need to rename it back to ZIP.
This should work, unless the system detects the ZIP algorithm

Who issued the error message? Every mail server can be configured to scan, accept, or reject mail and/or attachments, so one of the mal servers through which your email went rejected it.

rename the file extension: if it is file1.zip rename it to file1.txt, tell the person who receives it to rename from file1.txt to file1.zip and then unzip it.
