We're getting married in 3 months, do we have time to get married in church? I've heard a church ceremony requires 6 month of classes. Does that still apply if only one of us is religious?

Depends on the denomination, and the pastor/priest.

In all likelyhood - Yes - you'll be able to find someone to marry you - but get hopping!

Some require "classes" that they only offer at set times, and that may be tricky. Some, however, just require one-on-one counseling. And some don't require anything.

The most strict is the Catholic faith. You'll just have to call the pastor of the church you want to be married in and go from there.

Depends on the church. I've known people who had to take 6 months of classes, some 3 months, some 1 month, & some who had just 1 meeting with the preacher before the wedding to go over how it would be done. Check around, I really doubt it's too late.

If you don't have a location, that means you haven't sent invitations. If you haven't sent invitations, then go to the church you want and if they tell you 6 months, get married in 6 months. There shouldn't be any reason to be in a rush unless you've already sent out invitations (which you shouldn't do until you're sure of where to get married!) so get into the place that would make you the happiest and work with what they tell you.

Depends on the church. I'd call around and ask. Probably find some non-demoninational church, you'll probably have better luck there. You might have more of a problem finding a church that is available, given such a short lead time, but it's not completely impossible. Just start calling churches. Good luck!

If the two of you have doubts it may be wiser to no longer get married remarkable now. Any of the doubts will merely be magnified after. If he's wanting yet another woman, probability is extraordinarily sturdy that he will interior the subsequent 50 years of marriage. on the different hand now which you already know this, whether he did no longer you're able to consistently think of that he will do it.. you're able to desire to sit down and talk approximately it greater. till you're the two gentle with existence jointly for ever.

You should check with the church to see if they have the time slot available. Some churches have different requirements. Ask the individual church.
Good luck

I found a Nondenominational pastor of an ethnicly diverse church who was willing to marry us after only two one on one sessions in our home. You really need to start checking now, finding that pastor was no easy task.
