I am into the fantasy/fiction kinda book. I like the books with sweet fluffy romance, too, but not too into the scifi.

Try anything by Carl Hiasenn. He is hilarious. They are fiction novels, easy to read, and they all take place in Florida. Skin Deep is the funniest. VERY entertaining.

It's a long series, but very rewarding. The series is called "The Wheel Of Time" and it's by Robert Jordan. The first book is called The Eye Of The World. There are currently 11 books in the series with two more on the way. They're fairly large books but it's an amazing series that is very popular.

For lighter fair (and with a bit of romance in it) try "Talion:Revenant" by Michael Stackpole. Another of my favourites.

Another you can read in "Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley. It's a retelling of the legend of King Arthur but from tthe point of view of the female characters. It's very interesting and exceptionally well written. It get's into many of the romances of the tales.

I've been a fantasy reader (amongst many other genres) for a long time, and enjoy matching people to books they'll enjoy (good track record so far) so if you'd like the list to get longer here, just say so lol.

Have you read any Marian Keyes books? So funny, very modern and girly chick lit, very cleverly written with humour, candour and a bit of saucy romance thrown in for good measure. I have read all of them but loved Rachel's Holiday and Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married. Give them a go, everyone that I have passed them on to has also loved them.

Not sure of your age, so this may or may not be appropriate, but The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey N***** (can't remember the last name, except that it begins with "N") is great and also The Blessing Stone by Barbara Wood.
