don't pay any attention to these no-nothing peoples. severe cold spells where their usually are none is, if anything, a major beacon that something is amiss. regional fluctuations will be in the hot OR cold direction, depending on a number of geographic circumstances. i'll try and find a link to explain and post it later; here's something to get you started:

They were only normal day to day weather variations and never caused by global warming. It's just that the media has hyped global warning up so much that people are in a frenzy about it. The earth is warming but not that drastically. The measured increase is 1 degree in the last 125 years.

I think our recent strange weather (snowstorm in Oklahoma - heatwave in New Jersey) has been caused by El Nino. However, I think we are having more El Ninos than previous decades because of global warming.

Not totally but something that points that way is we broke a low temperature that was 22 deg.F with a 19 deg. F. that had been in place for 100 years. Does that say it is getting warmer to u??
