I'm a white girl with naturaly dark blond hair. My hair was formerly colored, and did have some bleach in it. I keep dying my hair brown and it eventually turns a brassy redish-brown. I want a deep chochlate espresso brown. I cant afforid to get it done professionaly. A guy at the salon said I should do a protein treatment on my hair because it will make the color stay truer, longer. Any advise? I am using nuteral colors. (Not G's or R's)

Use Aphogee. The stuff smells disgusting but it works like nothing I have ever seen.

Stop coloring your hair for at least a year. That crap is going to kill it. Go out and buy Redken All Soft conditioner. You can find the shampoo and conditner package at the Walmart Salon for around 20.00. Wash and put the conditner on your head. Wrap your head in saran wrap, or a plastic grocery bag for about twenty minutes. Then rinse with luke warm water.

You are over processing your hair and pulling the red. It best to keep up on trims and stay off the color. Dying dark it not going to eliminate anything except for you having to damage your hair once a month dying the new growth

i think this is because u had recently bleach ur hair so u'd have to stop coloring it for while and get some protein treatment for ur hair and u also need to do a color strip that includes a hot oil treatment.
