Yes, you get BAH reguardless of if spouse works or not. If you are married, you get it. If you have gotten married since joining the military, make sure to update your ERB to reflect you now have more dependants, and to have your wife/children if any added to your orders ect. Then your BAH will start. Good luck!

Yes you do however have to go to the personel office and make sure she is listed as a dependent. If you are married Mil to Mil I think one of you will get Partial BAH and the other will get the full amount.

Not sure though wasn't married Mil to Mil

nope. You have to go to Personnel and enter the spouses's name and SS# into DEERS and the paperwork must be processed. It doesn't just happen.

your spouses's slaary has no nbearing on whether opr not you get BAH.. you are entitled to it by virtue of being married, period.

BAH is your soldiers entitlement, so yes, even if you make more than your soldier, he/she will still get BAH with dependants based on his rank and zip code.

if married, or with dependents and authorized to live off post you will get bah regardless of anyone's wages..
you'll have to go through the housing office and the finance office to get it started.. b/c you have to have your dependent status changed or be sure you are listed with the correct amount of dependents and you will also have to have authorization to live off post.
