Depends. If they are waking me up to be petted at 2 in the morning or peeing on my new leather recliner, I'd say spawn of Satan. Most of the time, however, they are loveable pets.

Oh please - pets are not the issue it is the way they are raised by owners! Treat an animal like garbage and you will get back what you create. I've had 6 cats over the course of 20+ years and every single one has been raised with love, affection, attention and praise - as well as discipline for when they don't behave like they should (water guns, loud noise to startle them, verbal "NO!" commands) followed by more praise as I show them what they should do ... and not a single one has ever been a monster!

Those people in here that say cats are wicked or evil just never treated them right or were mean and nasty people themselves. It's the same with kids - raise bad kids and you get criminals. Raise your pet the right way - you get wonderful companions for life!

Kyle is so RIGHT. It totally depends on how you treat them. The only cat I have had that has had issues was because a roommate was abusing her so now she does not trust anyone but me. She will claw and bite you if you try to pet her. And I do not blame her a bit.
I am the only person that can handle her and it is because I have never shown her anything but love and affection.

Lovable pet - usually! I've had several cats in my life since my childhood and my last cat was the most lovely creature you could ever hope to meet. When I walked home from work I used to jingle my keys at the bottom of the road and he used to come hurtling round the corner to meet me and walk me home! My current cat has an attitude problem though. I've never known a cat like her! I've threatened her with finding a new home several times but she knows I don't really mean it. Stangly enough though, she loves my six year old son with a passion and will let him stroke her the wrong way and anything else he wants (he's not cruel to her). She barely tolerates anyone else!

Loveable, It really depends on how you treat the cat's, I loved and took very good great care of my cat's. And they loved me to death.Cat's can also love to.

Extremley loveable pets, i have two very beautifull loving cats. they cheer me up when im down or upset. and thery are there to great me when i get in from work. They are almost like dogs aswell when im having a bath they sit and watch or if im in bed thet snuggle up to me.

They are the best things in the world... I didn't used to be a big cat fan until my wife talked me into going to the RSPCA to 'have a look'. Since then I have not looked back... We have 2 black cats who are amazing.
Anyone who says that cats are boring are talking out of their ****... The amount of enjoyment these two cats have brought to our lives is un-measurable.
